Clinton speaks out on Trump campaign manager

Hillary Clinton weighed in Tuesday on the charges that Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski committed misdemeanor battery against former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.

“The charges today being brought today certainly suggest that the authorities you know thought her story was credible,” Clinton said while touring a brewery in Lacrosse, Wis.

On the campaign trail Clinton has often called on Trump to take responsibility for the actions of his supporters, as there has been violence at his campaign rallies. Recently, both Clinton and Trump accused Sanders of “inciting violence” amongst supporters during a March 14 town hall.

In Wisconsin, Clinton said she would not call on Lewandowski to, but said that “every candidate has to be responsible for what happens in their campaign.

The Trump campaign disputes the charges.
