They have the ring of great campaign slogans, but Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., would easily wince from some of the more clever catch-phrases people have come up with thanks to Weinergate.
“Certitude with a Smile” shirts are currently being sold at CafePress.com, the online apparel seller, which now boasts 3,500 Weiner-themed products. Another choice option is a shirt that reads “You’re just mad I didn’t send it to you.” The Charlie Sheen knock-off “#WEINING” also seems to be a popular Weinergate shirt design.
New York Sports Clubs is offering a Weiner sale as well, with advertisements that say, “Anthony, get people talking about your bulging biceps instead.” New Yorkers, like Weiner, can join the gym now and get June membership for free.
