$1,367,266 – The amount the American Heart Association earned in donations last Saturday at its annual Greater Washington Region Heart Ball in the District. Robby Benson (voice of the Beast in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”) dropped out at the last minute, but District donors still dressed up and turned out for the association’s 15th ball.
