Sure, Sprinkles may not have a reality television show like their competitor down the street, Georgetown Cupcake, but the L.A.-based bakery does have one thing going for it: star power.
Case in point, this week the Georgetown Sprinkles will debut a S’More cupcake created by Blake Lively of the popular “Gossip Girl” television series. Lively teamed up with Sprinkles founder Candace Nelson to create a graham cracker-lined, Belgian dark chocolate cake, filled with bittersweet chocolate ganache and topped with toasted marshmallow frosting.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from cupcake sales will go toward Lively’s charity of choice Oxfam. The S’more flavor goes on sale Friday.
