Jealous man accuses Rubio of stealing girlfriend

Sen. Marco Rubio might not win the Florida primary, but he may steal someone’s girlfriend before he’s done.

That was the opinion of a man who interrupted a Marco campaign rally at The Villages in Florida.

“That’s enough. Marco Rubio is trying to steal my girlfriend,” the unidentified man said, standing up to address the participants.

“She doesn’t look at me in the same way anymore,” he said. “He’s a little bit better looking than me.”

The man, dressed in a white shirt, appeared to be in his mid-thirties and possibly intoxicated, high or mentally distrubed.

“He’s using his power and money and is trying to take my girlfriend,” he added, apparently trying to warn the crowd. “He’s probably going to steal yours too,” he said, as he was ushered out of the event calmly by local law enforcement.

Later Marco addressed attacks by protesters in light of Donald Trump’s cancellation of an event in Chicago over the threat of violence.

Rubio said he didn’t characterize the man at his event as a rally “disruptor,” saying it was more like a “practical joke.” Rubio laughed off the incident. The crowd laughed with him.
