Before Angelina Jolie‘s premiere of “In the Land of Blood and Honey” Tuesday night at the Holocaust Museum, she and partner Brad Pitt ventured over to Charlie Palmer Steak on Capitol Hill. We’re told they were joined by a group in a private room and ordered off the restaurant week menu. The Hollywood power couple tried the smoked pork shoulder, gnocchi delicata squash, diver sea scallops, celery root mousseline, sherry shallot jus, baby arugula, and also the grilled sirloin steak with sweet potato puree and braised greens. To drink, they chose a pinot noir and merlot from Washington State. “They both were so kind and even more beautiful in person,” our spy reports.
In addition, the couple visited with President Obama in the Oval Office Wednesday.
