Polling for success: Beck has fans pick novel’s cover

Perhaps to get the masses pumped up, Fox News’ Glenn Beck is leaving it to the people to determine the cover of his new novel, “The Overton Window.”

The pundit released a poll on his Web site Tuesday that gives users four choices of covers including two that feature a fictional and foggy Washington, D.C. They show a flooded Lincoln Memorial and a smoke-filled skyline showing not one, but three Washington Monuments.

Scheduled for a June release, the novel is a political thriller about a second American civil war caused by a government in crisis.
