CNN correspondent and former FOX 5 reporter Brooke Baldwin is sliding into former colleague Rick Sanchez‘s anchor seat, at least in the interim.
According to CNN, the beautiful brunette will host the show formerly known as “Rick’s List” this week.
Sanchez was sacked Friday after a detrimental radio interview on the Sirius-XM show “Stand Up! with Pete Dominick,” during which he called “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart a bigot.
When Dominick disagreed with Sanchez’s harsh accusation, Sanchez said, “That’s what happens when you watch yourself on his show every day and all they ever do is call you stupid.”
Then, the anchorman further dug himself into a hole by implying that Jews run major media outlets like CNN.
Yeas & Nays tried to reach Baldwin, but did not hear back by press time. A CNN spokesman told Yeas & Nays that Baldwin is not available for interviews.
Baldwin was a lead reporter at WTTG for two years before leaving for the network in 2008.
