President Obama is by far the biggest target for late night comedians, but what happens when the president is taken out of the equation? The folks at the Center for Media and Public Affairs did some number crunching and found that Jon Stewart and David Letterman target Republicans more, while Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon make more jokes about Democrats. Here’s the breakdown:
68 Percent of jokes Jon Stewart makes that are about Republicans.
71 Percent of jokes David Letterman makes that are about Republicans.
57 Percent of jokes Jay Leno makes that are about Democrats.
65 Percent of jokes Jimmy Fallon makes that are about Democrats.
