Real estate mogul Donald Trump made an appearance on Wednesday’s “Today” show to offer his insights on the current GOP field. When asked what some candidates who’ve met with the Don might want from him – whether it’s his money or his media clout – he said he thought they mostly wanted his endorsement, but he said he doesn’t want to be a king-maker. “I want this country to be great again,” he said, going on to comment on his observations of Michele Bachmann‘s rise and fall in the polls. He headlined a telephone-town-hall with Bachmann on Monday, and though he said he won’t be endorsing the Minnesota Congresswoman, he seemed torn by the shift in support among the GOP frontrunners. “I could vote for anybody that we’ve been talking about, including Gov. Romney, who I think has made a great impression at the debates, and I could vote for anybody over President Obama,” he said, calling the president’s job performance “a complete and total disaster.”
