Just weeks after her 25th birthday and in the wake of her debut on the reality show “Blonde Charity Mafia,” Katherine Kennedy was mugged early Sunday morning walking home from the Capitol Club’s Santa Soiree.
The young socialite posted two photos of her black and blue right eye the following morning on a Facebook album titled, “I lost.”
“Fortunately, it is just a black eye and that will heal,” Kennedy told Yeas & Nays. “And what I may have lost in pride, I gained in awareness that as friendly as D.C. is, it is a major city and unfortunately these things happen.”
Kennedy said she plans to spend the next few days with friends and family.
“At least there are a lot of great holiday movies on,” she added.
