DES MOINES — At Drake University, lines were well out the door for Democratic caucus-goers. Before a standing-room-only crowd, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley made his pitch to caucus-goers, many of which say they are voting for the first time.
O’Malley not only met the necessary 15 percent threshold of support to be a viable candidate at this precinct but found slightly more support than front-runner Hillary Clinton at this precinct in the first round of voting.
