American Crossroads, a conservative super PAC, has launched a new campaign ad attacking Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with the hashtag #NeverHillary, a play on the #NeverTrump movement that Republicans are using to fight Donald Trump.
“Scandal follows Hillary Clinton like a shadow,” the narrator begins.
Clinton’s voice can be heard saying, “I think I’m probably the most transparent person in public life,” before a list of scandals the Clinton family has faced pop up. Those scandals include: “Rose Law Firm 1992,” “Whitewater 1992,” “Benghazi 2012” and “Emailgate 2016.”
The ad concludes with the #NeverHillary hashtag written across the screen.
The new 15-second ad put forth by the Karl Rove-funded super political action committee will be aired in Washington, D.C., according to Politico.
“With a resume filled with scandals and unethical behavior, Hillary Clinton is the one candidate unfit to be president of a condo association, never mind the United States. Because of that, it is important for everyone to consider what would happen if Hillary reached the Oval Office and then focus on making sure that never happens,” Ian Prior, a Crossroads spokesman, told Politico.
