When Politico ran its piece on former “West Wing” cast members who’ve returned to D.C. for other projects, they left out one political splash by another former cast member on the show. Lisa Edelstein, who played call-girl Laurie “Brittany” Rollins in five episodes during the show’s first season and now stars on FOX’s “House”, recently starred in a pro-choice ad for MoveOn.org criticizing the GOP for their “assault on women’s health” by limiting access to “vital services” like those provided by family planning. The ad first appeared on YouTube and is now being aired on some cable television networks.
