It’s that time of the year again. First lady Michelle Obama and her little helpers will once again be harvesting veggies from the White House kitchen garden. On Wednesday afternoon, FLOTUS will be joined by children from Bancroft and Tubman Elementary Schools for the third annual fall harvest. In years past, we’ve caught Obama in her blue jeans pulling out giant White House sweet potatoes and other garden greens herself. This year’s batch of produce will be used in next week’s White House State Dinner with South Korea and be donated to the local charity, Miriam’s Kitchen.
