On Wednesday, publisher Scribner released more details about the forthcoming Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., memoir. The book, “Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope,” will go on sale Nov. 15. The jacket shows Giffords embracing her hubby, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, before their 2007 wedding, according to the Tucson Citizen. The memoir is a collaboration between Giffords, her husband and the Wall Street Journal’s Jeffrey Zaslow, whose past credits include co-authoring the late Carnegie Mellon University professor Randy Pausch‘s best-selling tome “The Last Lecture.”
“Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope” will discuss Giffords and Kelly’s courtship and their careers before turning to the events of Jan. 8, when Giffords was wounded in the shooting that killed six in Tucson, Ariz.
