Fox News personality Sean Hannity, an unwavering supporter of Donald Trump, offered a rare critique of the president in a new interview, by saying he thinks Trump can be too easily bothered by his critics.
“You know, we can all, he’s not a perfect person,” he said Monday in a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt. “And the difference between Trump and, say, other politicians, which is what I was just describing, they’ll say anything to get elected. He just stuck to what he believed in. And maybe that’s a fault.”

“In other words, maybe he shouldn’t tweet out every thought he has,” he said. “Maybe he’s a little too sensitive at times, I think.”
But Hannity also agreed that Trump’s approach to public relations also helped him.
“You think of how many times during that campaign if you were advising him — I was advising him — we would say, ‘Oh, no, no, you can’t do that,'” Hannity said. “And his attitude is, ‘Why? It’s true, I believe it, I’m going to be honest with the American people, I’m going to say it, and regardless of the consequences.’ That fearlessness made him the president of the United States.”
