Rubio: White House response to San Bernardino like Benghazi

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said Friday that the Obama administration was reluctant to label the mass shootings in San Bernardino, Calif. “terrorism” for the same reason officials covered up the 2013 attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

“They have this narrative going, it’s the same thing that led to the lies about Benghazi, this narrative that somehow this problem is contained, that we don’t have anything to worry about, that ISIS is the JV team, that we’re not in any danger,” Rubio told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Friday.

Rubio did not say what narrative the administration is instead focused on pushing, adding instead that the White House’s moves were “inexplicable.”
