Boozer keeps it chill

While many lobbyists joined one of the raucous parties around town on Tuesday night, Democratic power broker Lyndon Boozer opted for a more subdued affair while the returns came in.

Boozer, a telecom lobbyist and a namesake of President Lyndon Johnson, hosted a gaggle of other Democratic VIPs at the Oval Room. Among them: his wife Karen Anderson of The Hamilton Project, Michael Hutton of Hutton Strategies, AdvaMed CEO Stephen Ubi, Andrew Vermilye of Fidelity, Gwen Nugent of RR Donnelly, Michael Dietsch of the Gates Foundation, Dave Grimaldi of the Raben Group, local developer Dennis Lee and Ashok Bajaj, proprietor of the Oval Room, Bombay Club, Ardeo and Rasika.

Afterward, the group went their separate ways, but most wound up at the Hyatt Regency for some rowdier merry making.
