Donald Trump ramped up his criticism of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton Monday to a crowd of thousands in Lowell, Mass.
“I watch Hillary the other day — she has the biggest teleprompters I’ve ever seen,” the leading GOP candidate told the crowd. “In fact, if you’re sitting on that side of the room or that side of the room, you can’t even see her because when [the teleprompters] are outside, they’re painted black.”
Trump continued, assuring voters that unlike the former secretary of state, he prefers to “speak from the heart.”
“When you get up in front of these large crowds and you speak from the heart … believe me, it’s a lot different,” he said.
Earlier in the evening, the billionaire businessman drew parallels between hecklers in the crowd and the former first lady.
“They remind me a bit of Hillary,” he said, while security officers removed several protesters from the crowded venue. “No energy, no stamina, no strength.”
Trump also repeated his claim that a Clinton presidency would equate to “four more years of Obama.”
