Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson’s latest book hits stores Tuesday.
A More Perfect Union: What We the People Can Do to Reclaim Our Constitutional Liberties, is the retired neurosurgeon’s eighth release. In it, Carson, who ranks third in the Washington Examiner’s most recent GOP presidential power rankings, details his approach to hot-button issues like same-sex marriage and gun control.
“As someone who has performed brain surgery thousands of times, I can assure you that the Constitution isn’t brain surgery … In our age of political correctness it’s especially important to defend the Bill of Rights, which guarantees our freedom to speak, bear arms, practice our religion, and much more,” says Carson.
Carson’s book tour will take him to 38 cities in 10 states: South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Florida.
