Eric Cantor, R-Va., dodged several hecklers at a jobs forum Wednesday at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, with at least one person accusing him of focusing on social issues rather than the economy. Politico reports that MoveOn.org and Planned Parenthood were both represented at the forum, where hecklers assembled to give the conservative Republican a taste of Tea Party-like medicine.
“If jobs are the most important thing, why have you spent the last five months attacking women’s health,” shouted Sendee Delano, a MoveOn organizer at the event. After approaching Cantor, she called him “the most smug human being I’ve ever seen in my whole life.”
