Peyton Manning, quarterback of the Denver Broncos, has contributed money to Jeb Bush’s campaign.
According to a report, Manning donated $2,700, which is the maximum amount the Federal Election Commission will allow an individual to contribute to a primary campaign.
He follows in the footsteps of his younger brother and fellow NFL quarterback Eli Manning, who also donated $2,700 to the former Florida governor.

This is not the first time Peyton Manning has contributed to a Republican cause. According to FEC filings, Peyton Manning donated to the campaigns of Tennessee senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander. Manning played football in college for the University of Tennessee.
He also gave money to George W. Bush’s campaign for president in 2004.
While Peyton may be giving his vote of confidence to Jeb Bush, who sits fifth in the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings, Jeb has placed his support behind the Broncos quarterback when it comes to his fantasy football team.
On Sept. 8, Bush tweeted that he had selected Peyton Manning to play on his team:
