RNC raises $11 million in March

March was a good month for the Republican National Committee.

The RNC raised $11.2 million in March and ended the month with $10.3 million cash on hand, Chairman Reince Priebus announced Thursday.

“This early investment from our donors and supporters allows us to execute a comprehensive strategy to defeat Hillary Clinton, including the successful launch of our Stop Hillary campaign. Their continued support will ensure we take back the White House in 2016,” Priebus said.

According to the RNC, 98 percent of donation’s were $200 and under, with an average of $82 per donation.

The RNC, which is also $2.6 million in debt, clearly wants to prove it is ready to help its candidates to challenge Democrats ahead of 2016.
