Members of Congress made time to munch and mingle before Tuesday night’s State of the Union address. We hear that Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., chose to grab dinner at Clarendon’s Nam-Viet before heading into the District to watch the speech. Many others, including Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., and Reps. John Dingell, D-Mich., Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Joe Wilson, R-S.C., attended a State of the Union pre-party at the Library of Congress, hosted by the Atlantic and National Journal, with copious libations provided by the Distilled Spirits Council.
