‘SNL’: Melania Trump isn’t ‘Sorry’ about finding her inner Beyonce

Fox News commenters have been saying Beyonce’s name in defense of Donald Trump’s lewd comments on women all week, but the singer proved she was irreplaceable with “Saturday Night Live’s” musical follow-up to the “Melania Moments” segment.

In the music video for “Melanianade,” Melania, played by Cecily Strong, launches into a rendition of “Sorry” from Beyonce’s “Lemonade” album, crooning a chorus of “I’m not sorry/ I’m not sorry/ Donald nah.”

She’s joined by Ivanka Trump, played by this week’s host Emily Blunt, Tiffany Trump (Vanessa Bayer), Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) and Trump’s “one black friend” Omarosa (Sasheer Zamata).

“One day Donald, you’ll wake up and this bomb pussy bow blouse will be gone,” she begins the song, modeling the Republican candidate’s wife’s ironic choice of fashion attire.

In their individual verses, Ivanka laments, “I’m supposed to be the brains here,” while Tiffany swigs champagne and voices her frustration at being the second-favorite daughter despite “killing that convention speech, no lie.”

Melania warns her husband, “Without us you wouldn’t be standing there/ You’d just be the guy with the weird hair,” but as the song wraps up, Alec Baldwin’s Trump walks in and dismissively tells them that it’s time to go — except for Tiffany, of course.
