Some of the people most excited to see Hillary Clinton in Iowa this weekend are Republicans.
Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said a Democratic presidential nod for Clinton in 2016 would be a dream come true, because her prominence would galvanize Republicans.
“If it was your job as national party job chairman to recruit a whole slew of volunteers, to raise a whole bunch of money and unify your party, you’d want nothing more than for Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic nominee,” Priebus said, according to Iowa paper the Globe Gazette.
Clinton is in Iowa, in whose primary she finished third in 2008, ostensibly for retiring U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin‘s fish fry.
