Seems as if Bristol Palin isn’t the only in the family whose love life is newsworthy. Sarah Palin‘s eldest, Track, tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, 21-year-old Britta Hanson, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, just a few miles from the family’s home in Wasilla.
People magazine reports that the couple began dating in high school, and continued their relationship long-distance when Track was deployed to Iraq in 2008 (you may remember Sarah Palin escorting him to his deployment at the time), and he’s now an Army Reservist planning to study at the University of Alaska.
The couple will have a larger wedding celebration this winter at Alaska’s Alyeska Ski Resort, when extended family and friends can join them for a long weekend. Until then, the mother of the groom has been busy gushing on Twitter about how happy she is for the newlyweds.
