Chelsea Clinton will headline a fundraiser for her mother, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, on Thursday in New York City.
The younger Clinton will headline the holiday-themed event along with film star Drew Barrymore.
The event signals the beginning of Chelsea’s involvement in her mother’s campaign, joining her father former President Bill Clinton, who has also become more active on the campaign trail.
The former secretary of state often talks about her granddaughter, 15-month-old daughter Charlotte, on the campaign trail, but rarely mentions her daughter. Since Clinton has hit the campaign trial, Chelsea has been consumed by her role operating the Clinton Foundation.
After Thursday’s fundraiser, Chelsea will reportedly begin regularly campaigning for her mother and is slated to appear at campaign events in both Iowa and New Hampshire going into the primary. She is also set to hold multiple fundraisers for her in Boston in January.
At 35, Chelsea can help her mother appeal to the demographic she struggles with: younger Democratic voters. In Iowa, Clinton has the support of 64 percent of voters 65 and older while Sanders has 58 percent of people under 45, according to a recent poll.
Tickets for the Thursday night event begin at $250 per family and go up to the maximum campaign donation of $2,700. Hosts are required to raise $10,000 or contribute $5,600 per family.
