Pro-Fiorina PAC responds to Trump’s comments about her appearance

Carly Fiorina’s super PAC has decided to capitalize on Donald Trump’s controversial remarks about her outward appearance with a new web-based ad titled “Faces.”

The minute-long video blends Fiorina’s clever rebuttal to Trump’s comments with close-range footage of dozens of women’s faces.

“Ladies, look at this face and look at all of your faces,” the female GOP presidential candidate, who hold the No. 7 spot in the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings, said in a recent speech to the National Federation of Republican Women, which is featured in the video.

“The face of leadership. The face of leadership in our party — the party of women’s suffrage. The face of leadership in your communities, in your businesses, in your places of work and worship,” she adds.

The video continues with a soundbite of Fiorina taking aim at Democratic candidates and leaders who believe women are an easy target as a voting constituency.

“Ladies, note to the Democratic Party: We are not a special interest group. We are the majority of the nation,” she says.

Rolling Stone magazine published a profile of Trump last week featuring comments made by the outspoken billionaire about Fiorina’s looks.

“Look at that face; would anyone vote for that?” Trump reportedly told the author of the piece during the 10 days they spent together on the campaign trail.

“I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posed ta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?” he reportedly added.

“This is the face of a 61-year-old woman,” Fiorina responds in the video produced by CARLY for America. “I am proud of every tear and every wrinkle.”

Both Fiorina and Trump will participate in the second Republican presidential debate Wednesday in Simi Valley, Calif.
