‘Women Can Stop Trump’ website launched

A group that works to elect candidates supporting abortion rights has launched a website called “Women Can Stop Trump.”

Emily’s List is targeting presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump with a site that lists comments he has made about women, some of them derogatory.

“Donald Trump has called women bimbos, dogs and fat pigs,” the website says. “He wants to ban abortions, punish women who have them and appoint anti-choice justices to the Supreme Court. If elected, he would be a nightmare for women.”

By listing multiple things Trump has said about specific women, and women in general, the group hopes to highlight him as an anti-woman candidate who views women as less deserving of respect than men and is thus a poor presidential pick.

“You have to treat ’em like s—t,” Trump said about women during a magazine interview in the 1990s, according to the website.

In an interview with ABC News, Trump said, “I don’t want to sound too much like a chauvinist, but when I come home and dinner’s not ready, I go through the roof, OK.”

And on several occasions, Trump made comments about his daughter Ivanka’s looks. On an interview with “The View,” Trump said perhaps he would date her if he weren’t her father. In 2003, he told Howard Stern that Ivanka has “the best body.”

The website also notes Trump’s comments aimed at Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, when he said she has “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her … wherever.”
