Where candy heiress Jacqueline Mars ranked on the Forbes’ 400 Richest Americans list. Mars, the top-ranked Washingtonian on the list, is a trustee of the Washington National Opera (though she doesn’t come out much, Yeas & Nays spotted her at this year’s Opera Ball at the Russian Embassy in May). Locals joining her on the Forbes 400 list include Redskins owner Dan Snyder, Nationals owner Ted Lerner and AOL co-founder Steve Case, among others.
