Not everyone in this town is impressed with White House credentials.
Backstage at the Black Eyed Peas concert Tuesday night, a woman in a hot red dress caught the attention of Hot 99.5 personality Toby Knapp when she demanded to see Will.i.am. She claimed to be a White House staffer to convince security she is a friend of the artist.
Knapp said he found her air of “entitlement” so offensive he took to the airwaves, Twitter and his blog to call out the woman he said was named “Karen.” Knapp, who on his Facebook page talks about his support of President Obama, said the alleged staffer represents all that is wrong with the Obama administration and the nation’s capital in general.
“The way you were acting, hell, I thought you might have been a cabinet secretary or something,” Knapp wrote on his blog.
Yeas & Nays tried searching for this alleged White House diva, but to no avail. We also contacted a source in the White House press office who said it was highly unlikely this bad-behaving girl was on staff.
So the mystery surrounding this “friend of Will.i.am” remains.
