The Ground Game: A furious finish

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Ahead of Saturday’s Republican debate, each candidate has a particular target in mind. That’s because the latest batch of polling shows an extremely close race for second place behind Donald Trump. With nearly one-third of Republican voters indicating they could change their mind before Tuesday’s primary, the stakes could not be higher for a GOP field that is seeking to emerge from Saturday’s debate with only minor bruises.

Saturday night’s debate is being billed as one of the most gruesome forums to date because of the fierce fight for a strong showing behind Trump. The past week in New Hampshire has already shown the fierce fight that is likely to ensue as the gloves come off and the sparks fly in the final debate before the first-in-the-nation primary.

Watch as Senior Political columnist David Drucker previews the debate and explains what is on the line for each of the candidates.
