TED STRICKLAND

Ohio’s governor is mounting a comeback in the polls. After trailing likely Republican nominee former Rep. John Kasich by as much as 11 points, Strickland has pulled to within one point in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll. Kasich got 46 percent of the vote compared to 45 percent for Strickland. Two percent wanted another candidate, and 7 percent were undecided. The change may come from Democrats rallying to Strickland’s banner and the end of contentious fight over legal gambling.
