John Edwards paid $400. The newest upscale salon in Washington charges $950. But Attorney General Eric Holder has taken the scissors to expensive political haircuts — at least for himself.
His security detail was spotted recently outside Xclusive Salon on Rhode Island Avenue in the Bloomingdale neighborhood. A source tells us that’s where his longtime hairdresser wields the shears that have been cutting Holder’s hair for many years.
The price: $18 to $25. Talk about responsible budgeting.
