Sightings: Brown drinks beers, Van Susteren skips breakfast, Washington visits GW

Is Sen. Scott Brown becoming a regular at the Dubliner?

The Massachusetts Republican was spotted at the Capitol Hill pub, again, Thursday night, drinking with some cops during Police Week. In February, Yeas & Nays reported that Brown was eager to meet Washington Metropolitan Police Department officers. He introduced himself to a couple of cops during “Snowmageddon” and then asked them for suggestions on where to eat in Chinatown.

Also seen out and about was Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren. She skipped a seated breakfast and was instead hanging out by the press risers, listening to Sarah Palin speak at the Susan B. Anthony List’s Celebration of Life Breakfast on Friday morning. Van Susteren was there with her hubby, John Coale, a local attorney who advised Palin during the campaign. She interviewed Palin after the speech.

At George Washington University on Friday, new members were welcomed to the university’s Board of Trustees, including actress Kerry Washington. Washington graduated from the university in 1998 and received the GW Alumni Achievement Award in 2008.
