Watch: ‘SNL’ lampoons Trump, Sanders, Carson, Clinton

Saturday Night Live” reprised its popular impersonations of Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders yesterday.

The show tackled last week’s Carson endorsement of Trump first.

“Let’s get this guy a juice box and a nap,” Darrell Hammond’s Trump character remarked on Carson, played by Jay Pharoh. “He looks like he drives a hollowed-out ice cream truck.”

Larry David’s Bernie Sanders joined a Jake Tapper character, played by Beck Bennett, for an interview by satellite.

Asked why Sanders is struggling with African-Americas, the Sanders character commented, “Probably because I look like someone who at some point told them, ‘Get out of my store.'”

Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton character debuted a new ad on the show as well. In the ad, “SNL” mocks the perception that Clinton will do anything to win.

In the ad, McKinnon’s Clinton crescendos into outright impersonating Sanders in an effort to appeal to millennial voters, who she struggles mightily with relative to Sanders.
