Watch: Obama chips one in from the fringe in Hawaii

On his third day of vacation in Hawaii, President Obama had some luck on the 18th hole of the Mid Pacific Country Club in Kailua.

It was around 5:30 p.m. when Obama walked up to the 18th hole, squatted down to get a better look, and from about 40 feet out, chipped his ball safely home.

According to a White House pool report, Obama raised his arms in triumph, then asked reporters, “You guys saw that, right?”

He then high-fived his golf partner.
