Donald Trump retweeted a photoshopped image of fellow Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush Friday that had been shared by a user named “WhiteGenocideTM.”
“Poor Jeb. I could’ve sworn I saw him outside Trump Tower the other day!” the user wrote to Trump in a tweet containing a picture of Bush holding a sign that says, “Vote Trump,” outside the billionaire’s gilded Manhattan skyscraper. The candidate retweeted the message and image to his followers.

The Internet was quick to note, however, that the tweet came from a user who appears sympathetic to white nationalism. In addition to having a profile picture of George Lincoln Rockwell, who founded the American Nazi Party, the user Trump retweeted lists his location as “Jewmerica.”
Several of the account’s latest tweets and retweets contain anti-Semitic images and harsh criticism of Martin Luther King Jr.
Tim Miller, a spokesman for Bush’s campaign, immediately reacted to Trump’s retweet.

Trump has previously come under fire for retweeting patently false statistics and an insult to voters in Iowa. He blamed the latter on a “young intern who accidentally did a retweet” after the tweet went viral in late October.
