Former Vice President Dick Cheney is known to have a little fun with his nicknames.
Two years ago, after being called Darth Vader, the Cheneys dressed up their dog Jackson like the “Star Wars” bad guy. Now, just in time for Halloween, Cheney has been given a new nickname: vampire.
Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., deemed Cheney a vampire Friday night on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews.”
“I have trouble listening to what he says sometimes because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he’s talking, but my response is this: He’s angry because the president doesn’t shoot old men in the face,” Grayson said to Matthews. “By the way, when he was done speaking, did he just then turn into a bat and fly away?”
No word yet on whether Cheney has picked up a new costume for the dog.
