When Hillary Clinton re-launched her campaign Saturday she said Republicans are “all singing the same old song — a song called ‘Yesterday'” — a Beatles song over five decades old, which the Rubio campaign was quick to point out.
The Beatles song was released in September, 1965.
Hillary’s “yesterday” reference was also unoriginal, for as the Washington Examiner pointed out, Marco Rubio said at his own announcement: “Just yesterday, a leader from yesterday began a campaign for president by promising to take us back to yesterday” referencing Hillary Clinton’s announcement the day before.
“But yesterday is over, and we are never going back,” said Rubio.
