Trump continues Megyn Kelly feud, lauds CNN

Donald Trump renewed his critique on Fox News host Megyn Kelly Saturday, less than a day after Fox criticized the presidential candidate’s “extreme, sick obsession” with the news anchor.

“Crazy @megynkelly says I don’t (won’t) go on her show and she still gets good ratings,” Trump tweeted Saturday. “But almost all of her shows are negative hits on me!”

The Republican front-runner added: “If crazy @megynkelly didn’t cover me so much on her terrible show, her ratings would totally tank. She is so average in so many ways!”

Trump has recently tweeted about Kelly frequently, drawing a denunciation from Fox.

“Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land,” the network said Friday.

Trump on Saturday also cited a supporter who argued it is Kelly who has a “sick obsession” with Trump.

In a unusual twist, Trump seemed relatively happy with CNN, which is generally less conservative than Fox.

“Wow, @CNN ratings are up 75% because it’s ‘all Trump, all the time.’ The networks are making a fortune off of me! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump tweeted.

Trump’s feud with Fox is longstanding. Fox Hosts like Bill O’Reilly like Sean Hannity have given Trump largely laudatory coverage.
