Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Polish Ambassador Robert Kupiecki exchanged sweet words at a party at the ambassador’s new Whitehaven St. residence Wednesday night. A Yeas & Nays spy sends word that in his remarks, Kupiecki told Clinton, who lives down the street, that she was welcome to borrow a cup of sugar. Clinton returned the neighborly offer in her remarks, adding that given the size of his residence, he might need a bushel rather than a cup.
Clinton worked the party in a black and gray jacket and pearls, posing for a few photos on her way out.
