You can expect a little good-natured booing at any Comedy Central roast, but the crowd booed a lot louder than normal at a recent taping of Donald Trump’s roast at the Hammerstein Ballroom. That’s because Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrento cracked a few too many bad jokes on Wednesday night. “Sitch” even mispronounced House Speaker John Boehner’s name, even though Comedy Central staffers wrote it out phonetically for him, and he went on to use his mispronunciation (which may have been intentional, come to think of it) as juvenile joke fodder.
Though the tanned reality show star managed to muscle through his set, it wasn’t before getting booed for his jokes about attendee Snoop Dogg and getting shouted down by comic Jeff Ross. The roast will air Tuesday on Comedy Central at 10:30 p.m.
