Chelsea Clinton can’t avoid the family drama forever.
When asked about the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation taking money from countries known to have terrible women’s rights records, what did she do? She dodged the question, naturally.
Clinton, who is the vice chairwoman of the Clinton Foundation, was at the Council on Foreign Relations Tuesday to discuss women’s rights as human rights.
“A lot of people have questioned why did the foundation take money from Saudi Arabia when it didn’t treat women as well as perhaps they could,” Juju Chang from ABC News asked.
Chang also questioned Clinton on a New York Times report released Tuesday on shady payments to the Clinton family from Russia.
“We have always partnered with governments, NGOs, foundations, to believe the work we do is important and so whether that’s around women and girls […] and so what the Clinton Foundation has said is that we will be even more transparent,” Clinton answered.
