First Sen. Scott Brown wanted his daughters married off, now he’s hoping they’ll reproduce.
In remarks during the recent reopening of the renovated planetarium at the Boston Museum of Science, the New York Post reported that Brown said he visited the planetarium “as a little kid, as a teenager, as a young father, and probably, not too early, as a grandfather,” leading some to ask if this could be his public bid for grandkids.
Of course, Brown isn’t the only political figure itching for grandbabies. Last month, Bloomberg News noted remarks from former President Bill Clinton, who said during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, would rather have grandchildren than the presidency.
