Vice President Joe Biden seemed to forget Donald Trump’s name during a Thursday speech to House Democrats, even though Trump has dominated the 2016 White House race for months now.
Biden was making the point that Republican policies are a good issue for Democrats to run on, and said the leading GOP candidates may end up being a “gift from the lord” for Democrats this year.
“I don’t know who to root for more, Cruz or Bush… or ah, or um, ah… what’s that guy’s name?” Biden said at the Democratic retreat in Baltimore. “He’s having a fundraiser for veterans tonight, I’m told.”
Trump is skipping the Republican debate, in protest of what he says is Fox News’ decision to allow a biased anchor, Megyn Kelly, moderate the debate.
