Don’t suggest that Ward 2 Councilman Jack Evans doesn’t take his constituent service seriously.
Evans finally got a chance to meet President Barack Obama on Wednesday night at the reopening gala for Ford’s Theatre.
“I’m Jack Evans; I’m your council member,” he told the new president (the White House sits within Ward 2).
“I’m glad I now have a representative,” came Obama’s response.
