Perry himself remembers that “oops moment” — and he’s airing an ad across the great state of Iowa during “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno to poke more fun at that gaffe. This may in the hopes that Perry’s self-deprecating sense of humor will rescue his poll numbers, which have plummeted since his last debate.
